It's a lot to take in. Also, we are now going on our usual 2 week holiday hiatus. We'll be back on January 16th!

          What about Piper? Sure, she mostly just kinda inserted herself in it, but Feral doesn’t argue the point, even though he was hired to take her in.

          But I think what Kevin meant by saying there’s no “inner circle” is that there’s only one circle. i.e. he has no casual friends (outer circle), just a select few people he has any interest in at all. And at this point, they’re more like family than anything else. Jyaku is the father, Feral is the grumpy, aloof big bro, Meela is the over-energetic little sister and Holland . . . aha, well, the most fitting role would be motherly older sister, even though he’s actually younger than Feral, lol.

      It’s not just you–that’s been observed before. The current theory (not sure if it’s been confirmed or not, but I don’t think so) is that it always comes out looking a little different whenever Jyaku has to reapply it after a Mal-breaks-free episode.

    Feral’s friend went ape on Jyaku, Feral got demonized, has killed people, Holland helped calm him down and bring him back…

    Huh. I have no idea, Meela. No idea at all why he’s telling you this story.

    OMG, I freaking love this webcomic its so cool and very interasting(sorry for bad spelling) and the characters are awsome. But poor Meela, she so cute and I wonder what Feral and her relationship stands on right now, I mean he did just try to kill her, or, Malkar try’d to kill her, and will Feral even remember what his little friend” Malkar” try’d to do, and whats Meela going to do because this all seemes like its alot to take in at once for someone her age or for anyone really.I just that whatever happens they stay friends.

      Feral and Meela are in no way related by blood. Both of their families and backgrounds have been fully revealed at this point and there is no connection between the two other than when Mal came out and murdered Rollin and Connor. They aren’t even from the same region. The regional difference applies to Mal, too, if that’s whom you were talking about.

    I was casually checking out Gamer Cat and suddenly I had read all of this. Wut.
    A mute and some furry types of characters, yes, that works for me. I am oddly reminded of Inverloch. Just ever so slightly, a little bit. Good stuff, good stuff.
